Nokia’s high-end Lumia 920 features Dual Core processor, 4.5-inch HD display, and Windows Phone 8

From last few years Nokia had been struggling to make it’s mark on to the smartphone market dominated by iPhone and Android devices. When the Finish company had to choose between what software it was going to use in it’s future smartphone devices, the cell phone giant chose Microsoft’s Windows Phone over Android and it’s own Symbian platforms. Nokia introduced the Lumia 800 smartphone with N8 like shape and Windows Phone operating system. The phone wasn’t a huge hit but it gave Nokia a path on that it could use to make it’s smartphone line up relevant again.

Now in 2012 it looks like Nokia is going to take the driving seat and become the most important device manufacturer for Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 software. Nokia recently announced the new Nokia Lumia 920 that packs monstrous specs and design that is much appreciated by the tech industry gurus. Nokia Lumia 920′s biggest feature is it’s HD screen that measure at 4.5-inches. The curved screen is a PureMotion HD+ display with WXGA or 1280×768 pixel resoltion that makes Windows Phone 8′s tiles look even more gorgeous.

Nokia Lumia 920 is equally a beast inside than it is on outside, as it features a Dual Core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM. The device rocks a 8-megapixel camera that is capable of recording videos at 1080p. It also features a front camera that allows users to make video calls and take self portraits and video.

Nokia Lumia 920 is a power house in full sense, other than the huge HD display and Windows Phone 8, it features LTE and HSPA+ network capablities that allow fast internet access on the go. Nokia has also added it’s new Super Sensitive touch feature that allows users to interact with the LCD of their phone even when they are wearing gloves, something Androids and iPhones are not capable of doing.

Other features of Nokia Lumia 920 include microUSB port, 32GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and much more.

According to an official statement, Nokia Lumia 920 will be available in select markets later this year.
